MARLBOROUGH, NEW ZEALAND 2024 SAUVIGNON BLANC
AROMA
Floral, herbaceous and spicy. You’ll find notes of lime and mandarin peel balanced with gooseberry leaf.
PALATE
Crisp and full flavoured giving the wine a lively mouthfeel. Flavours of citrus, particularly lemon, lime and grapefruit, with notes of dried herb. Balanced and pithy providing a lingering palate.
WINEMAKING
Grapes were harvested at optimal ripeness. After gentle pressing, the juice was clarified and settled, then fermented at approximately 13° to 15℃ for three weeks using a selection of aromatic yeasts to maximise the fruit characters inherent to Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. After fermentation the wine was racked and the individual parcels held separately on light lees to help maintain freshness before final selection and blending.
SOURCE VINEYARDS
Predominantly sourced from our estate vineyards across the Upper Wairau, Lower Wairau and North Bank sub-regions.
